The new 2022 Pacifica Hybrid is first and foremost a family minivan. Therefore, Chrysler has packed the latest iteration of their Pacifica lineup with more safety and security features than ever before, ensuring improved visibility, reaction time, and all-around awareness.
The ParkView Rear Back-Up Camera, Proximity Entry (all doors), Push-Button Remote Start, Pedestrian Warning Speaker, and a Security Alarm are all included as standard features on the new Pacifica. In addition, the vehicle comes with a 360° surround view camera. This allows the driver to have a 360° view of the vehicle from the center console screen, allowing them to park, back up, and navigate with confidence.
Bicyclists and pedestrians can sometimes appear out of nowhere. Given the size and weight of the minivan, it can be challenging to stop the vehicle or maneuver it to safety in case of a sudden encounter. That is why Chrysler has added the Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking system in the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. The system works by using sensors to detect movement in the vehicle’s path and immediately supplementing or applying the brakes.
Furthermore, the new Pacifica comes with Park-Sense, a technology that detects available parking spots and provides visual and audio instructions and controls the steering wheel. All you need to do is work the brakes and gear selector, effortless parking all the way.
