Cranbrook: Learn How to Change a Tire on the 2022 Jeep Gladiator/Wrangler

May 25,2022

As siblings, the 2022 Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator models have a lot in common. From powerful performances to earth-shattering off-roading capabilities, these two vehicles also share maintenance routines due to having many of the same features. With that being said, changing a tire can be performed in the same way on both.   The first step is to park the truck or SUV on a firm, level surface that is out of the way of traffic. The parking brake should be active, and the hazard lights should be on. However, the ignition should be turned off.   You will find the jack and the lug wrench located underneath the rear passenger seat on the right. Lift the seat cushion and turn the wing nut counterclockwise to remove the tools. Next, attach the lug nut to the jack extension tube. Then insert the device into the access hole - which is located between the tailgate and bumper. Rotate the handle counterclockwise to remove the spare tire from its mounting.   You will then loosen the lug nuts on the wheel of the flat. Place the jack under the vehicle and raise it off the ground. Finish removing the lug nuts and flat tire, and put the spare in its place. Finally, reinstall the lug nuts and lower the vehicle.   Contact us today to learn more!
