The 2022 RAM 1500 includes an innovative digital rearview mirror. This mirror can function as an ordinary rearview mirror that offers a wide view of the road and vehicles behind you. However, every trucker has experienced the frustrations of having their view blocked whenever they haul a large item in their truck bed. The 2022 RAM 1500 solved this problem with its new digital rearview mirror.
You can turn on the LCD display embedded behind the mirror by pulling the On/Off control underneath the mirror toward you. The display will provide an unobstructed, high-definition, and real-time video feed from the truck’s rear-facing camera at any gear or speed.
You can press the Menu button to adjust the screen brightness and tilt. The Left and Right buttons allow you to scroll through different options. You can set the digital rearview mirror back into its default auto-dimming mode by pushing the On/Off control forward. This range of options gives you the ability to set your digital rearview mirror so that it is comfortable to view at any time of day.
